About me

I have recently graduated with a PhD from the Computer Science department at the Univerisity of California, San Diego. In a previous life, I studied Computer Science at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur.

At UCSD, I was a member of the Systems and Networking group. I was advised by Dr. Amin Vahdat and often collaborated with Alex Snoeren, Geoff Voelker and Stefan Savage, among others.

My research explored the resource management and performance isolation mechanisms in virtual machines. In the past I have also been involved in Internet scale system emulation. You can check out my publications and my bibliography.

When I’m not doing research, I like to write, cook, sing, hack, swim, snowboard, community service, and then some more :)
