First, I got late at work (forgot my badge at home, again!, and realized it only after I reached HP)
Then drove to Cupertino for the HP Welcome BBQ Lunch. By the time we got back, it was almost 2.
At 2:30 we had the social event for interns working in ISSL. It was a lot of fun, and it was good listening to our lab director, Rich. It was also good, because I won a Shrek 2 DVD and a HP Photosmart 245 printer. Apparently, this particular model is out of production now (no wonder it was up for grabs!), but its a nice cute little printer nonetheless and prints great photos, so I’m happy!
After that I just didn’t feel like working. So came home early and trying to get some work done towards the research exam document. July 4th plans are also brewing up and in general the atmosphere is all so that I just can’t get that ‘settle down into work’ type of feeling :)
