Such an under-ambitious project man. A fence to keep out a few weak and weary Mexicans, while we in India have mastered the art of building defenses against nature’s fury itself? Remember Jayalalitha promising to build a wall all along the Tamil Nadu coast in the aftermath of the the December 2004 tsunami? Coming up with dumb stuff for garnering cheap votes is something in which the Indian polity compares favorably to the West.
