I’M BEDRIDDIN AND HANDY CAPED, SO IN MY TIME, I HAVE WRITTEN CHAPTERS ON THE OLD TV SOAP DARK SHADOWS. BUT I DON’T KNOW WHO OR IF I NEED TO GET AN OK TO USE THE THE NAMES AND PLACES AS I THINK THEY ARE COPYRIDED, AND I DON’T WANT TO GET IN TO TROUBLE. I JUST FOUND OUT THE THE MAN WHO, OWNS THE SHOWS , DAN CRUITS, HAS PASSAWAY, LAST YEAR, AND THE HIS OFFICES CLOSED ITS DOORS AFTER THAT HAPPEN. I HAVE CALL THE BOOK”
WHATEVER HAPPEN TO COLLINWOOD” OR WHATEVER HAPPEN TO BARNABUS COLLINS” I HOPE YOU CAN HELP ME… THANKS RANDY LAHAM

I wish I had friends like you. In India, we too offer print-on-demand at cinnamonteal.in - have been doing it for nearly a year now with about 40 books printed every week.

Hi Diwaker - I agree with you that a printed book is an amazing idea. Just offering up another suggestion, as publishing a book is not for everyone… So the internet offers up a few other offers (as I mentioned above).

@Nicki B.: Hey, haven’t seen you around here before! :) The key difference is that you can get a real, printed book at Pothi (much like lulu.com). As a revenue source Triond sounds great, but a book to your own name is just something else don’t you think?

There’s also another place that I write for, where you can get published online, called Triond. I have a lot of Indian friends that write for them, and you can publish novels and short stories and articles on nearly any subject you want, plus you get paid for your pageviews. Maybe this is another possible resource for people?

@Chris X Edwards: India is an evolving market, so yeah, hoping it takes off! Here in the US for a while it seemed like lulu.com and others like it were taking off, but then Amazon started shoving them around. Big bucks often invite big trouble :)
