@Sanya: Wow, hey welcome to my blog!! I'm a diligent reader of your blog and see all your daily drawing :-) BTW, thanks for being sweet but I'm pretty sure you don't really love my blog or anything :p I think you guys were brilliant to wear all your stuff -- I wish we had done the same. It pains me every time I think about how much money they basically extorted from us!

hi Diwaker, love your blog!
Sorry they gave you such a hassle, I remember seeing this group of people with 3 huge suitcases each arguing with the airline staff... they obviously did not read the baggage rules.
I've got a funny story about this. As much as I hate easyJet and RyanAir and all of the stupid budget airlines, we had to use them extensively when we were studying in Europe. The first time that we ever flew with RyanAir, it was from Paris to Barcelona in 2004. As we were eventually going to arrive to our separate destinations for school (me - Italy, Brook - Germany) we had to carry all of our gigantic textbooks and other school materials with us. Anyway, we learned just prior to our flight how horribly expensive any extra weight over the 20kg limit is, and being as we were broke art students and had to think of something, we decided to WEAR all of our clothes until the bags hit 19kg each. So Brook had on 4 PAIRS OF JEANS - I am not exaggerating! (amazing how much jeans weigh), 2 coats, stuffed the inside coat pockets with four textbooks each, etc. I had pretty much the same thing going. We looked absolutely ridiculous and we were sweating buckets. But it worked!! The airline woman just glanced us up and down and showed us to the security gates. Then we had to take off all the coats and pull out all the text books and dictionaries to go through security check... everyone was staring at us.
Anyway, next time you stuck in this situation, just unpack it and wear it all!

i have had problems with easyjet,on the on-line booking it said a charge of 18 euro's had been added for one piece of hold luggage. When I checked in i was told I had to pay 22 euro's as the other charge was not showing on ther system!!!!
What a rip off I will never travel with them again and will make sure all our friends and family hear off this .

All I can say is DON'T TRAVEL EASYJET!!!!!!!
